Philosophy
Veritas is the Latin word for "truth."
As a Classical and Christian School, our mission is to train children in the truth for the glory of God. We equip students with the tools of learning in order to develop the ability to think in a disciplined and discerning manner.
Veritas Academy utilizes the classical model of education known as the Trivium. The Trivium consists of three stages of learning: Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric. This model is designed to teach students how to learn by studying the fundamental rules of each subject, by understanding the ordered relationships of these subjects, and by articulating these relationships in a coherent and persuasive manner.
Veritas Academy supports the Christian family in accomplishing the covenantal task of training and educating children.
Veritas Academy believes that the task of education is the formation of Godly character in the lives of its students. Instilling virtue is a component in character formation and is central to the task of education.
